Last week we visited New York to meet up with Steadicam operator Jamie Silverestein on set for the movie Empire (starring Isabella Rosselini). Jamie has for a long time been interested in seeing the new M28VP motor and I thought it would be great to test it on set with him. Hooked up to the Bartech rec/amp the motor responded very well to the Ultra lens, the mounting was made very fast and taking up very little space. Jamie has made a statement of the new motor on the steadicamforum.com that could be interesting to read.
