Gears & modules

We have got many questions regarding module,DP (diametrical pitch) and American, Metric standard.

For example:

1 inch = 25.4mm

25.4/32DP = 0.7937 = 0.8
25.4/40DP = 0.635 = 0.6 (Fuji)
25.4/48DP = 0.529 = 0.5 (canon)
25.4/64DP = 0.3968 = 0.4

This small difference of 0.0001181 inches is equivalent and could not cause some backlash.

Both American and European press angle is 20 degrees
